JOYFUL, RELAXED PHOTOS THAT SHOW YOUR CONNECTION WITH EACH OTHER.
Family, Senior, and Newborn Photographer in North Liberty, Iowa
I’m here to capture your family exactly as it is.
IN ALL ITS perfect IMperfection.
I don’t stick your baby in a bucket, or force fake smiles from your kiddos. I do prompt tickle fights, tell corny jokes, and encourage kids to play, laugh, and even “misbehave” a little.
Your family doesn’t have to be perfect. Just show up and be happy being together. I’ll take care of everything else.
AWW, THANKS Y’ALL
Happy people, neato!
“My family had an amazing experience with Lydia. She is super organized and helpful, and made our photo session stress-free. Lydia is talented, fun, laid-back, and professional.”
— Olivia O.
“Lydia was by far the best photographer we have worked with! She went above and beyond for our family pictures, the kids were so happy and never complained about having their pictures taken. Lydia was very responsive and quick with getting final pictures back to us. We can’t wait to have her capture more family memories in the future.”
— Sara D.
“Lydia was amazing to work with, even with a senior who was unsure about having a photo shoot all to herself. Lydia made sure she was comfortable, and she ended up having a blast. Now I’m left having to choose favorite photos when they’re all perfect! She truly captured my senior’s attitude and personality.”

I’m Lydia, the lady at the helm of Apollo & Ivy Photography, and it’s lovely to meet you. I want to make your experience as stress-free as possible, guiding you and your family to interact with each other in ways that create authentic moments of connection and happiness. Because it doesn’t matter how awesome the photos are if all you remember is how miserable you were.
WILL WE GET ALONG LIKE PEAS AND CARROTS?
Let’s find out.
You want a laid-back, enjoyable photo session where even the grumpy family members will say, “That was fun!”
Your fave photos make you feel: sweet expressions, adoring gazes. The “look at the camera and smile” photo is okay… but you could take it or leave it.
You don’t take yourself too seriously. Sometimes the kids eat cereal for dinner, big whoop (hey, it’s fortified).
Yay, you’re still here! Let’s get this party started. Get the low-down on packages and pricing.
